Ways You Can Help in 2025

As the word “Collective” implies in our name, it’s going to take a collective of people, ministries, other NFPs, businesses, and governmental agencies joining forces with their time, talents, experiences, connections, and resources to serve the foster care community in the big, life-giving ways that TSC intends. That said, we could use all the help we could get … and it would be greatly appreciated.

Our needs will change as we move through 2025, but below are some ways you can help us today.

  • TSC Crew Members: As we roll out our various Foster Family projects, we’ll be looking for folks to plant, build, assemble, paint, clean-up, haul away, and generally love on these amazing families. If you’d like to be in the loop on future projects to potentially serve, please email usand we’ll add you to the list.

Project Management: If you have the gift of organizing & herding cats and want to put those skillz to good use, we could use your help. We will eventually hire a Project Manager, but for now we could really use a Super Star Volunteer to step in until we do. If that’s possibly you, please let us know!

Social Media: We need to do a better job at getting the word out about all the great things TSC is up to, particularly on social media. If you’d like to spend some of your scrolling time posting, liking, and following on behalf of TSC, please reach out.

Administrative Help: Got a little time on your hands and you thrive on keeping things in order? If so, we could sure use your help … so please let us know!

Farmhand: If you love animals and don’t mind getting a little bit dirty (or a lot a bit), we would love it if you could periodically help us care for our little menagerie of critters. Holla if that’s potentially you!

  • Whether if it’s directly for TSC or for one of our foster families, at times we’re in the market for some professional services.

Please let us know if you, your company, or the company you work for would be interested in helping a NFP start-up like TSC in the areas below. Depending on the scope & nature of the work, this could be paid or volunteer work … so let’s talk.

    • Legal Assistance

    • Graphic Design

    • Marketing/PR

    • Bookkeeping/Accounting

    • Landscaping – Install and/or Maintenance

    • Carpentry/Handyman

    • Supplies (e.g., lumber, landscape material)

  • If there’s a foster family you know who could be served as only TSC can … or a church, organization, or business that you think we should connect with … please let us know. One of TSC’s keys to success has been effectively navigating the contacts we’ve been given. Please help us keep that connection ball rolling!

  • The gracious gifts of friends, family, and complete strangers … as well as some pretty amazing corporate grants … have allowed TSC to serve the foster care community this year in some pretty special ways. Thank you so much! But to keep things moving, we’ll need mullah to do it.

    • Soooo, if you’re looking for an amazing not-for-profit that’s doing some pretty incredible things for the foster care community, we’d love for you to consider supporting TSC financially as we roll into 2025!

    • That said, if you feel led, please click here to give online.

    • If you want to pay by check, please make it out to “Tire Swing Collective” and send to: 2350 Cumberland Drive SE, Smyrna, GA 30080.

    • Finally, if you want to connect to learn more, please email me or give me a buzz and we can chat.

    • Note: TSC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (ID: 88-2741108), so donations are tax deductible.

  • Although appearing last in this list of TSC’s needs, prayer is what we need most. Serving foster families and navigating “the system” & the realities of a start-up NFP are beyond challenging; but first, it’s a spiritual battle. So please pray for us personally, for our efforts, and for the precious children & families we serve.

If you’d like to be in the TSC prayer loop more directly, here are 2 ways you could consider:

    • Let us know if you want to be on the TSC prayer distribution list.

    • Although Dr. Keller and I have been praying weekly together for the past 2 years, one of TSC’s goals for 2025 is to expand our prayer coverage by developing a TSC Prayer Team. We’re still working out what that looks like, but if you’d like to consider being on the TSC Prayer Team, please let us know.

Thanks, y’all!
